Research Fellowship

(1 ) Junior Project Fellowship in the Department of Education in Chemistry and Mathematics at NCERT, India

The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT will hold a walk-ininterview to recruit two Junior Project Fellows on purely temporary basis. The interview will be held on 1st August 2011 at 10.30 A.M. in the Room No. 2, 1st Floor, Science Block, NCERT, New Delhi.

Recruitment of two Junior Project Fellows (JPFs) – Walk-in-Interview under the

following projects:

1. Study of Chemistry Curriculum at Higher Secondary Stage

2. Study of Mathematics Curriculum at Higher Secondary Stage

1 Qualifications

a) Essential : At least IInd Class Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry

and Mathematics with minimum 55% marks

b) Desirable i) National Eligibility Test (NET)

ii) Knowledge of English and experience of

working on computer

2. Age Limit : 30 years (with relaxation of 5 years for women

and SC/ST candidates)

3. Tenure of Fellowship : Upto 31st March 2012

4. Fellowship amount : Rs.8,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

(2) NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATION & RESEARCH (NIPER), Applications are invited for a post of Junior Research Fellow (Professional)/Senior Research Fellow under a DST project entitled “Sustainable synthesis and bio-evaluation of hetero-polycyclic compounds as topoisomerase II inhibitors” under Dr Sankar K. Guchhait (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry. Salary Rs. 18000/- + HRA. Essential qualifications: (A) Any of following degrees, MS.(Pharm.)/M. Pharm. in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Natural Products; M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry; M.Tech. in Pharmaceutical Technology (Bulk Drugs), and (B) Minimum CGPA of 6.75 (or 60% marks) for General, 6.25 (or 55% marks)
